Reverse Osmosis is a system through which water is filtered to your desired standard. A very simple explanation is that the water is filtered using a pressure difference and polymer membrane separation technology.
How it works
- In the reverse osmosis method, clean water is obtained on the low pressure side by forcing the water molecules to flow through the membrane in the opposite direction by exerting pressure greater than the natural osmotic pressure.
- The fundamental element of a reverse osmosis system is the membrane. Because of its incredibly tiny hole size of 0.0001 microns, which guarantees that only water molecules and solvents smaller than this size pass through, these membranes efficiently block dissolved salts, particulate debris, and organic pollutants. Outside the membrane, bacteria, fungus, viruses, and chemical ions are inhibited and released along with wastewater.
