The duckbill check valve is made of resilient neoprene and artificial fibres, which are specially processed to resemble a duck's beak, hence the name duckbill valve. In the absence of internal pressure, the mouth of the duck closes under the action of elasticity. As the internal pressure increases, the outlet of the duckbill gradually increases and the liquid can be discharged at a high flow rate.
