Each gabion basket typically includes 6-7 welded panels (containing diaphragms), 12-16 helical binder wires, and 2-4 corner stiffeners (can be replaced by bracing wire).
Position two adjacent gabion panels perpendicular to the ground at a 90-degree angle. Prepare helical wire to align with panel joints.
Move connected panels to the bottom panel, align joints, and insert helical wire. Alternatively, install surrounding mesh panels first, then assemble the bottom.
Continue installing side panels. Due to increased weight, flip the cage 90 degrees and manually thread helical wire.
Install diaphragms using appropriate helical wire length. Turn bottom 90 degrees and insert helical wire by hand.
Complete installation of remaining side panels.
Position gabion stiffeners or bracing wire at appropriate points for structural integrity.
Fill basket with stones or decorative materials. Install parallel reinforcement bars outside the cage for flat, attractive finish. Install lid last.
The installation is now complete and ready for use.
