How It Works
- Key Press: When a key is pressed, the top layer's conductive traces touch the bottom layer, completing the circuit and sending a signal to the computer.
- Layers: A membrane keyboard consists of three layers: a top membrane layer with printed circuit paths, a middle spacer layer, and a bottom membrane layer that completes the circuit when a key is pressed.
