Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene(UHMWPE for short)pipe was extruded out with 1.5~9.2 million viscosity-average molecular weight material by extruding machine in high temperature and pressure situation. The UHMWPE pipeline is widely applied in the fields of hydraulic reclamation,dredging, mine tailing,ash transporting and so on.

UHMWPE pipeline dimensions
1. High wear resistance
4 to 7 times of steel pipe, 2.3 times of HDPE. That means it's Working Life can reach 3 times longer than Steel pipe at least in the same abrasion condition.
2. High Impact Resistant
UHMWPE pipe is Non-Broken in the Izod Impact Test (unnotched), it's impact strength is more than 140 KJ/ M², do the best in plastic pipes.
3.High Corrosion Resistant
UHMWPE Pipe is extremely resistant to harsh environments, acids and most chemicals. Which Steel pipe can not.
4.Good Self-Lubrication
UHMWPE Pipe offers a smooth, non-wettable interior suface, that accounts for a Hazen-Williams Flow Coefficient of C=160. While steel pipe: C=130(new), C=95(old), C=60~80(for bad medium, such as lime slurry)
5. High Flow-Rate
UHMWPE pipe's Frication Coefficient is 1/6 of steel pipe, Flow-Rate is 50% higher than steel pipe. That means you can use smaller diameter UHMWPE pipe for same flowing capacity, more convenient and more cheaper.
6.Resistant to Scale and Scale Build up
UHMWPE has outstanding Resistance to Scale and Scale Build up, that keep long term smooth inner face, means long term High Flow-Rate. And decrease cleaning charge.
7.Unique Resistance to Low Temperature
UHMWPE pipe with Working temperature -269 to 80 degrees Celsius, can maintain High Impact Strength even in low temperature as -196 centigrade.
8. Non-Toxic
UHMWPE pipe is Food grade, can be used for grain/flour transport.
9. Flexible
UHMWPE with Tensile Strength 500kg/cm², Elongation at Break 300%, so it can resistant to sudden bend ex. earth subsidence without break.
10. Easy to Handle
UHMWPE with light weight 1/8 of steel, so it is easy to handle. It's installation charge is only about 10% of pipe amount, while steel pipe is 20%.
Besides, UHMWPE pipe can absorb energy, absorb noise, It is UV Resistant and can be colored.
You can use UHMWPE pipe single or combine it with Steel Pipe to enhance the strength.
