Glass Beads for Reflective Road Marking
Glass beads are high-performance organic materials used for reflective road markings. Their specialized coating reduces surface adsorption of airborne dust, while containing specific coupling agents that enhance adhesion to coatings. This prevents tiny glass beads from sinking into the coating due to their flotation function, allowing them to remain on the surface where they provide maximum reflectivity. With their large surface area, these beads increase utilization rates by more than 30%, making them an irreplaceable reflective material in road safety products.
We provide glass beads with different refractive indices including 1.53, 1.72, and 1.93. We can also supply glass beads meeting various national standards or customized according to customer-specified size distributions.
