Industrial Glass Beads for Road Marking Traffic Paints
Glass beads are high-performance, organic materials used in road marking applications. The specialized coating on these beads reduces surface adsorption of dust from the air, thanks to the inclusion of specific coupling agents that enhance cohesion with coatings. This prevents tiny glass beads from sinking into the coating due to their flotation function. When applied, they float on the surface, providing a large reflective area that increases utilization by more than 30%. Reflective glass beads have become indispensable materials in road safety products.
