Custom ESD embossed carrier tape. material: conductive black polystyrene (PS). Fully conforms to EIA‑481‑E specification for surface‑mount component automatic handling and tape‑and‑reel packaging. The conductive formulation provides reliable electrostatic‑discharge protection, preventing static‑caused failure of sensitive IC, transistor and passive components throughout logistics and SMT assembly workflow. Thermo‑formed pockets are precisely shaped to hold target components securely, minimizing risk of component offset, tilting or escaping during tape winding, shipment and high‑speed feeder operation. Sprocket hole position and pitch are strictly controlled to guarantee smooth feeding on various brands of automatic taping equipment. Tape is wound in neat winding onto antistatic plastic reel. Per‑roll length can be produced as per customer requirement. This carrier tape works well with corresponding HAP‑type heat‑seal cover tape to form fully sealed tape‑and‑reel package.
