Material Properties
ASTM A36 Carbon Steel
ASTM A36 is a structural quality carbon steel for use in welded, bolted or riveted construction of bridges and buildings, and for general structural purposes. Minimum yield strength of 36 KSI (250MPa) meets A36 requirements. Applications include railroad cars, trucks, agriculture equipment, trailers, construction equipment, buildings and bridges.
Q235B Carbon Steel
Q235B steel is an ordinary carbon structural steel with a yield value of approximately 235 MPa. The yield value decreases gradually with increasing steel thickness. With moderate carbon content and excellent comprehensive performance, Q235B is widely used in construction of plants, bridges, ships, and vehicles. Quality grades include A, B, C and D. Q235 is equivalent to Japanese standard SS400 steel.
