Rotomolding Process Technology
Rotomolding is an advanced manufacturing process for forming hollow plastic products, also known as rotational molding. Plastic mold powder is added to the mold, which is then heated and continuously rotated along two perpendicular axes. The raw materials gradually and evenly coat the mold interior under gravity and heat, melting and adhering to form the required shape. After cooling and demolding, the finished product is obtained. This process requires less equipment and mold investment, making it ideal for producing large, medium, and complex plastic components.
