Installation & Operation
Rainwater Infiltration Process
During installation, the well is surrounded by gravel backfill and wrapped with geotextile fabric. This configuration allows rainwater to penetrate through the uniform holes while filtering out sediment and debris. The captured water replenishes groundwater supplies, contributing to sustainable urban water management.
Grease Separation Process
Wastewater Inflow: Kitchen wastewater containing fats, oils, food particles, and soap enters the inlet of the grease trap.
Separation Process: Inside the polyethylene chamber, gravity separation occurs where grease floats to the top, solids sink to the bottom, and cleaner water remains in the middle layer.
Clean Water Outflow: Only the middle-layer water exits through the outlet pipe to the sewer system, while grease and solids remain trapped for periodic removal.
