Product Description
Thermoplastic paint is a type of coating that becomes soft and pliable when heated and hardens upon cooling, making it ideal for applications requiring durability and adhesion. Unlike traditional paints that dry through solvent evaporation, thermoplastic paint is applied in a molten state and solidifies as it cools, forming a tough, resilient layer. It’s most commonly used for road markings but has other industrial and decorative uses as well.

Composition: Typically made of a thermoplastic resin (binder), pigments, glass beads, fillers, plasticizers, and additives (see my earlier response on composition for details).

Application: Heated to 180–220°C (356–428°F) and applied via methods like screeding, extrusion, or spraying.
