Cutting Ring for Concrete Pump Trucks

Concept:
The cutting ring is a crucial wear part located in the S-tube valve assembly of a concrete pump. It works in tandem with the rubber/polyurethane wear plate to create a tight, sliding seal.

Purpose:
Its primary function is to provide a hard, durable sealing surface for the S-tube. As the S-tube shifts to alternate between concrete cylinders, the cutting ring shears through any residual aggregate between itself and the wear plate, preventing pressure loss and ensuring a smooth, continuous flow of concrete.
