Working principle

The working principle of the twin-screw sheet extruder is based on the principle of plasticization and homogenization of raw materials in the presence of heat and pressure. The specific process is as follows:

• Feeding: The raw material is fed into the barrel through the hopper.

• Conveying and mixing: The two screws begin to rotate, bringing the material into the barrel of the extruder. During the rotation of the screw, the material is compressed, cut and mixed, so that it is gradually transformed into a uniform mixture.

• Heating and plasticizing: When the screw rotates, it will also be heated according to the characteristics of the material, so that it can melt or reach a plasticizing state.

• Extrusion molding: The plasticized material is forced through the mold and cooled in the mold to form the desired sheet product.
