Note: The above technical parameters are for reference only. Specific device configuration depends on project conditions, customer requirements, and technical specifications.
The dredger operates on the principle of using powerful pump-generated negative pressure (suction) to extract mud and sand mixtures (slurry) from underwater surfaces through specialized suction pipes.
- Stirring and loosening: Specialized attachments (auger heads, high-pressure water guns, rake heads) agitate and break up sediment for easier extraction
- Suction and transportation: Powerful sand pumps create suction to draw slurry through the pipeline system
- Pipeline transportation: Slurry is transported via onboard piping (sometimes supplemented by floating pipes)
- Separation and stacking: At destination sites, sediment settles while excess water is discharged or recycled
- Waterway, port, and canal excavation, widening, deepening, and maintenance
- River channel dredging for flood prevention and navigation improvement
- Reservoir and lake dredging for capacity restoration and water quality enhancement
- Foundation excavation for water conservancy projects
- Extracting seabed/offshore sand and gravel for artificial island construction and land expansion
- Extraction of river sand, sea sand, and gravel for construction materials
- Removal of polluted sediments
- Wetland restoration projects
- Environmental dredging using specialized equipment
- Trench preparation for submarine pipeline/cable installation
- Depositing dredged material for dam reinforcement and land formation
