Automatic Chain Bucket Dredger Machine, 300m³/h Capacity for Sale
A chain bucket dredger is a continuous-duty dredger. Its core operating principle involves a series of buckets (excavators) evenly mounted on an endlessly rotating bucket bridge. Driven by upper guide wheels (drive wheels) and lower guide wheels, the buckets rotate continuously.
Operation Process
- Excavation: The buckets penetrate the bottom mud layer at the lower guide wheel at the bow, scooping up the mud.
- Lifting and transport: As the bucket bridge rotates, the buckets lift the mud from the bottom to the surface.
- Unloading: When the buckets reach the top of the upper guide wheel, the bucket mouth points downward, and the mud pours by gravity onto the mud slide.

Working Principle
- Excavation phase: The bucket moves down the bucket frame to the bottom of the water, the bucket cuts into the soil layer, and rises with the chain after being filled with mud and sand.
- Lifting and transportation: The bucket brings the material above the water surface and turns over at the top to unload.
- Material handling: The unloaded material is transferred to the shore or barge by a belt conveyor, or directly dumped into a designated area.
