High-speed fuses are thermal current control devices used for semiconductor circuit protection. They have a structure specially designed for the electrical characteristics of semiconductor components and provide all the necessary short-circuit characteristics required to protect semiconductor devices, such as low energy let-through (l2t), low peak current (lPEAK), low arc voltage and high heat dissipation.
