1. Pay attention to the applicable pH range
   Hexametaphosphate sodium works best in neutral or weakly alkaline conditions (pH 7-9). Avoid using it in strong acidic baths as it will lose its effectiveness and may cause precipitation, resulting in stains.
2. Precisely control the addition amount
   The dosage should be calculated precisely based on the hardness of the water. Insufficient dosage will result in poor softening effect and affect the dyeing quality; excessive use will not only be wasteful but also increase the burden of wastewater treatment.
3. Be alert to the risk of high-temperature scaling
   When used for a long time under high temperature and high pH conditions, the complexes formed with calcium and magnesium ions may decompose, causing hard calcium phosphate scale to form on the inner walls of the equipment, affecting heat transfer and damaging the equipment.
4. Pay attention to the compatibility with additives
   It can be well compatible with most anionic and non-ionic additives, but avoid directly mixing it with cationic additives (such as softeners, color-fixing agents) in the dye bath; otherwise, it will produce flocculent precipitation, causing defective fabrics.
