High-Flow Drainage and Filtration Long Filament Geotextile for Coastal Embankments and Riverbank Protection
Product Description:
In hydraulic and marine engineering, our Long Filament Geotextile provides reliable filtration and separation in saturated conditions. Its uniform, non-clogging pore structure ensures high in-plane water permeability (transmissivity), making it an excellent choice for drainage behind retaining walls, within coastal embankments, and under revetments. When used beneath riprap or concrete block systems for riverbank and shoreline protection, it acts as a filter that prevents soil erosion while allowing subsurface water to drain, thereby reducing hydrostatic pressure and enhancing slope stability. The resistance of the PET polymer to saltwater and biological attack makes it particularly durable in aggressive environments like coastal zones, salt marshes, and tidal areas.
Ideal Applications:
-
Filtration Layer Beneath Riprap for Riverbank and Coastal Revetments
-
Drainage Media in Retaining Walls and Seawalls
-
Separation and Filtration for Reclamation and Landfill in Coastal Areas
-
Erosion Control on Canal Slopes and Reservoir Embankments
