Surface Preparation: Ensure base surface is flat, clean, and free of sharp objects (stones, glass, steel bars). Fill pits and uneven areas with sand or fine soil.
Laying Requirements: Avoid tension and wrinkles during installation. Overlap adjacent membranes by 10-15cm (thickness ≤1.5mm) or 15-20cm (thickness >1.5mm).
Welding Specifications: Use HDPE welding machine with welding strength ≥80% of base material. Conduct air pressure testing (pressure ≥0.2MPa, holding time ≥5 minutes) to verify integrity.
Storage & Protection: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure before installation. Cover with tarpaulin if not used immediately.
Maintenance: Regularly inspect for damage and repair any leaks or tears promptly using special welding rods.
