Product Introduction
Screw conveyor provides the ideal solution for transporting hard-to-handle materials ranging from irregularly shaped dry solids like scrap wood and metals, to semi-liquid and sticky materials including pulp, compost, food-processing waste, hospital waste, and wastewater products. The conveyor consists of a rotating shaftless screw inside a U-shaped trough with an inlet hopper and outlet spout, completely enclosed for safe operation. Material is pushed into the feed inlet and moves to the outlet spout through screw propulsion.
Operating Principle
The conveyor operates through the pushing action of the spiral blade during rotation, combined with material gravity. Material moves forward through the interaction between the spiral blade and material pipe, facilitated by friction against the inner wall and within the material itself, enabling efficient material transportation.
Application Range
Suitable for various materials including aluminum powder, lead powder, copper powder, quartz sand, alloy powder, traditional Chinese medicine powder, lime, kaolin, and ceramic raw materials.
