Product Introduction
The double-shaft screw conveyor features a solid screw in a U-shaped groove configuration, with one left-handed and one right-handed screw. These screws rotate through a gear pair at the shaft extension, creating axial material movement for efficient conveying.
Working Principle
Material enters through the feed port. As the rotating shaft turns, the helical blades generate normal thrust forces. While radial components and blade friction could potentially cause material rotation, gravity and trough friction prevent this, resulting in controlled axial movement along the trough.
