Product Introduction
The double-shaft screw conveyor features a solid screw in a U-shaped groove configuration, with one left-handed and one right-handed screw. These screws rotate through a pair of gears at the shaft extension position, enabling axial material movement for efficient conveying operations.
Working Principle
Material enters through the feed port and, as the rotating shaft turns, receives normal thrust from the helical blades. While radial components and blade friction could potentially rotate the material around the axis, gravity and trough friction prevent rotation, allowing the material to move axially along the trough under the blade's thrust force.
