Working Principle
The automatic wet magnetic separator operates by placing a matrix net inside the working chamber surrounded by a screw coil. AC power is converted to DC excitation power through a silicon rectifier control system. When the coil is energized, the matrix becomes magnetized, creating a non-uniform magnetic field—specifically a high gradient magnetic field—on the matrix surface. As slurry passes through the matrix in the working chamber, magnetic particles are captured by the matrix while non-magnetic materials flow through. This process effectively separates magnetic matter from non-magnetic substances.
