1. Properties & Applications

DY-N242 is a one-component adhesive which is used to lock and seal threaded fasteners. It is characterized with thixotropy, medium viscosity, and medium strength. The product cures in the absence of air between two fitting metal surfaces to prevent loosening and leakage. It is applied to M6-M36 locking and sealing, which require normal disassembly with standard hand tools. It is commonly used for screw nut locking.

2. Directions

Clear the contaminants like water, dusts, oil of the substrate surface to keep it clean, dry and smooth.
Spray all threads with enough glue and rotate several times. Allow them to dry. Better effect will be reached at the thickness of 0.05mm.
The bigger gap will affect cure speed and strength, especially for bigger screw threads.

3. Storage and warnings

Storage:

Store the adhesive in shady, dry, well-ventilated, damp-proofing placesã€‚
Store the adhesive at room temperature.
Keep away from any source of ignition.

Warnings:

In the event of mass use, make a pre-test.
The adhesive is irritable to skin and eyes. Wear gloves while applying glue.
Keep out of reach of children.
In case of skin or eye contact, flush with water and seek medical treatment immediately if necessary.
