The system comprises three main membranes: bottom membrane, inner membrane, and outer membrane, creating two separate spaces. The inner membrane stores gases while the space between inner and outer membranes serves as pressure regulation chamber. When gas volume increases, the inner membrane expands and excess air is discharged through the outer membrane safety valve. When gas volume decreases, the blower automatically fills air into the pressure space to maintain constant pressure.
