Aluminum Honeycomb Panels

Aluminum honeycomb panels are innovative composite materials widely used in various industries.

Structurally, they consist of face and back sheets (0.5 - 1.5mm - thick aluminum alloy plates) and an aluminum honeycomb core (3 - 6mm - thick, made of multi - layer aluminum foil in a hexagonal - celled honeycomb structure).

These panels are remarkable for their high strength - to - weight ratio. They are lightweight, typically 1/5 - 1/3 the weight of solid aluminum plates of the same volume, yet have a tensile strength meeting high standards (≥0.2MPa). This makes them ideal for aerospace (e.g., aircraft wings and fuselage parts) and automotive (like doors, hoods, trunk lids) applications where weight reduction matters.

They also feature good flatness for a smooth surface, suitable for architectural use. Their aluminum alloy - based construction gives them good weather resistance. With good processability (cutting, bending, drilling) and sound - insulation and heat - insulation properties from the honeycomb structure, they are a versatile, high - performance material.

The Fireproof Aluminum Composite Panel is carefully packaged. Each panel is separated by a protective film to avoid scratches and damage. Then, they are stacked and fixed on strong wooden pallets for stability and to prevent movement - induced damage.

The pallets are wrapped with waterproof material to keep out moisture and reinforced with strapping to hold the panels in place during shipping.

For international shipments, the wooden pallets are fumigated to meet international phytosanitary standards, preventing pest and disease spread.
