Product Overview
Desmodur® 44V20L is a REACH certified, dark-brown liquid blend of diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate (MDI) with isomer and homologues of higher functionality. This polymeric MDI is specifically formulated for use with polyols to produce rigid polyurethane foam applications, particularly for wall and roof spray foam insulation in construction.

Packaging & Storage

- Storage Temperature: +10 to +30°C recommended
- Storage Stability: 6 months when stored in moisture-tight containers
Important Handling Instructions
- Product may crystallize below 0°C but can be reliquified by heating to maximum 70°C
- Keep all containers tightly sealed at all times
- Prevent contact with water, moisture, or damp air to avoid dangerous pressure buildup
- Water contact causes polyurea formation and carbon dioxide generation
- Moisture exposure can lead to equipment blockages and production issues
