Installation Guidelines
- Weld corresponding flanges vertically to pipes at both ends
- Connect ball flange with corresponding flange using connecting bolts
- Compress nuts in parallel using diagonal method
- After pressure testing, adjust expansion to installation length with limit nut on control tie rod
Installation Precautions
- Do not perform pressure testing until all connecting bolts and nuts are properly tightened
- Never open connecting bolts and nuts during pressure testing or operation
- Ensure expansion joint does not exceed installation length
