Product Structure & Function
Spherical compensators (ball joints) utilize angular displacement to absorb lateral movement in one or more pipeline directions. These compensators must be used in pairs for effective operation, as single units provide no compensation capability but can function as pipeline universal joints. The design offers substantial compensation capacity, minimal blind force, reduced stress on pipe supports, and features injectable combination sealing technology for long-term reliability.
Specifications & Materials
All E-Type spherical compensation joint bodies and glands are manufactured from QT450-10 or superior ductile iron, with nodularization levels meeting GB/T9441 standard requirements (minimum 70% nodularity rate). Pipes and short pipes utilize Q235-A, QT450-10, or other specified materials. E-Type joints include single-head flange short pipes with minimum 15cm length.
