Double ball rubber joint (also known as double ball rubber soft joint, double ball rubber flexible joint) is a flexible connection device used in piping systems, mainly used to absorb vibration, reduce noise, compensate for displacement (axial, lateral, angular) and adapt to thermal expansion and contraction.
Structure and composition
Double sphere design: It consists of two spherical rubber parts and a connecting flange in the middle, which has greater displacement compensation ability and flexibility than a single sphere.
Material:
Inner layer: medium-resistant rubber (such as natural rubber, nitrile rubber, EPDM, etc., selected according to the medium).
Reinforcement layer: multi-layer polyester cord or steel wire skeleton to improve pressure bearing capacity.
Outer layer: weather-resistant and ozone-resistant synthetic rubber (such as chloroprene rubber).
Flange: usually carbon steel galvanized flange or stainless steel flange.
