Safety and Usage Guidelines
Important Safety Information
- 1535nm wavelength is eye-safe, but avoid direct eye exposure to laser beam
- Cover receiving lens during optical axis adjustment to prevent detector damage
- Maintain environment humidity below 80% and keep area clean
- Avoid aiming at highly reflective targets within 20m (glass, white walls)
- Do not connect/disconnect cables while powered on
- Ensure correct power supply polarity to prevent equipment damage
Note: Ranging performance is affected by atmospheric conditions. Range decreases in fog, rain, and sandstorms. Better reflectivity from targets like green vegetation, white walls, and limestone can increase range. Beam angle to target also affects performance.
