The FG-98A/H single-axis fiber optic gyroscope is a solid-state, high-precision digital closed-loop device based on the Sagnac principle. This optical-mechanical-electrical integrated system incorporates erbium-doped fiber optic light source, fiber coupler, photoelectric detector, integrated optical phase modulator, fiber sensing ring, and supporting circuitry.
