Its 60kV/600mA burn mode quickly reduces high-resistance faults to low-resistance, while the 600mA intelligent bridge ensures precise location. Ideal for high-voltage, large-section, long complex cables (e.g., GIS-terminal cables and cross-interconnected setups), it delivers fast fault location without needing to disconnect GIS switches or short-circuit cross interconnections—streamlining operations for complex installations.
Technical Features
- The equipment adopts switching power supply to form high voltage constant current source, high voltage and stable current.
- The bridge detection module is integrated with a large LCD screen display at high potential.
- The operating button on the panel is at ground potential and the bridge is operated through the insulation rod.
- The special custom-made four-core high-voltage measuring cable with shield, the copper mesh braided shield layer is reliably grounded and safe to use. The four - end resistance measurement method avoids the error of lead resistance.

Fault pre-positioning
When using the bridge method, cross section method or intelligent voltage method for positioning, if the current is less than 20mA or the current is unstable, the positioning should be terminated. Use the equipment burn-through mode to burn high-resistance faults into low-resistance faults, and the current is stable, and then pre-position.
