Sphelite ACD-100 amino carboxylic acid chelating resin is a polystyrene divinyl benzene polymer featuring CH₂N(CH₂COOH)₂ functional groups. These groups contain N and O lone pair electrons, enabling complexation with cations including Cu²⁺, Pb²⁺, Fe²⁺, Cd²⁺, Ni²⁺, and Zn²⁺.
Compared with traditional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 demonstrates superior exchange capacity and exchange rate, making it a mature and widely adopted solution in industrial applications.
