The Sphelite ACD-100 is a high-performance chelating resin engineered with a polystyrene divinyl benzene polymer backbone and CH2N(CH2COOH)2 functional groups. These specialized groups feature N and O lone pair electrons that form exceptionally stable complexes with metal cations including Cu²⁺, Pb²⁺, Fe²⁺, Cd²⁺, Ni²⁺, and Zn²⁺.
Compared to conventional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 delivers superior exchange capacity and faster reaction rates, making it an established industry standard for selective metal adsorption applications.
