D301 is a kind of macroporous weak base anion exchange resin.
The tertiary amine group on D301 resin dissociates OH- in water, and the positively charged group can adsorb and bind to the anions in the solution, causing anion exchange to remove anions in water. When water containing anions passes through the resin bed, the anions in the water exchange with the exchangeable anions on the resin (OH⁻).
Application: Mainly used to remove anionic contaminants in water, such as nitrates, chlorides, sulfates, etc. Its working principle is to adsorb anions in water and release hydroxide ions (OH-).
Appearance: white Opaque spherical particles
Regeneration: After a period of use .The resin will be saturated and need to be regenerated regularly to regain adsorption capacity. Regenerant usually use base solution (NaOH) to wash the resin and remove adsorbed anions, then using pure water to remove residual base solution.
