Adsorbent resins are designable macroporous polymer adsorbents used in plant extraction, purification, and juice decolorization. These high-performance materials combine adsorption and molecular sieve principles to concentrate and separate organic substances effectively.
The macroporous adsorbent is prepared by suspension polymerization, resulting in physicochemical properties that remain stable and insoluble in acids, bases, and organic solvents. The porogen, skeleton, and polarity can be designed to meet various separation requirements.
