Printing Technology
The HDP5000e utilizes advanced high-definition retransfer printing technology. This innovative process prints images onto a specialized film that is then fused to the card surface, delivering exceptional image quality with sharp details, true-to-life colors, and complete edge-to-edge coverage. By printing onto high-definition film rather than directly onto the card, this technology ensures consistent image quality even on uneven card surfaces.
Printing Speed and Performance
This high-definition ID card printer can produce up to 133 single-sided, full-color (YMCK) cards per hour. Print speed measurements represent the time from when one card drops into the output hopper to when the next card follows. Processing time varies based on file size, printhead resolution, CPU capabilities, available RAM, and system resources during printing operations.
