Compatible Card Types
The HDP5000e secure ID badge printer works with standard CR-80 cards (3.375" x 2.125") made of PVC, composite PVC, composite, PET, PETG or polycarbonate material. It also supports contact and contactless smart cards, proximity cards, RFID cards and magnetic stripe cards. Accepted card thickness ranges from 0.030" (30 mil), 0.050" (50 mil) or 0.762 mm to 1.27 mm.
Encoding Options for Secure Card Personalization
The HDP5000e supports a range of encoding technologies for secure card personalization, including magnetic stripe, contact chip, contactless smart card, RFID and proximity encoding, all configurable based on your organization's requirements.
