How It Works By Inductive Suspension Strut
In simple terms, the working principle of a magnetorheological damper is as follows: sensors collect data on the vehicle's speed and acceleration, including road surface information from cloud-based sensors, as well as information on the vehicle's accelerator, pedal, and brake pedals. The ECU controller performs real-time calculations and makes decisions, generating a corresponding current to the electromagnetic coils inside the damper. This produces a magnetic field of appropriate strength, which in turn affects the arrangement of microparticles in the magnetorheological fluid, thereby changing the damping strength of the damper.
Advantages
When the electromagnetic suspension is working, it uses multiple sensors to detect road conditions and various driving conditions, and transmits the data to the electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU then controls the electromagnetic dampers to react instantly by changing the viscosity of the special fluid (electromagnetic fluid) inside the dampers to instantly change the damping, thereby suppressing vibrations and maintaining vehicle stability. Its advantages are particularly evident when the vehicle is traveling at high speeds and encountering obstacles.
