1. Extrusion Temperature Specifications

The temperature of the ingot tube is very important, and the preheating work should not be sloppy. To keep thermal stress low and prevent lining shrinkage, the ingot tube and lining should reach operable temperature simultaneously through gradual heating (not exceeding 37°C per hour).
Ideal preheating practice includes maintaining the ingot cylinder at 232°C for 8 hours, then at 427°C for 4 hours before extrusion to ensure uniform temperature distribution and complete stress relief.
