Product Description
The ring nut is a critical component for connecting mechanical equipment. Through its internal threading, it securely fastens with screws of matching specifications. These nuts are commonly used with external threaded columns for lifting various equipment including molds, chassis, and motors.
Standard ring nuts typically have no surface treatment, but can be customized with galvanized passivation, chrome plating, or other finishes per GB5267-85 specifications. Material composition and mechanical properties are tested according to GB699 standards after electrogalvanizing.
The ring nut should be immediately discarded if visible deformation occurs. When lifting with increased acceleration or impact, always select a load capacity lower than the rated maximum.
For 45° angle lifting applications, additional measures like countersinking should be implemented to ensure proper mating surface contact. Appropriate washers should be added to align both rings within the same plane, maintaining a maximum 5° deflection from the axis plane.
Heat-treated special steel materials may exhibit reduced ductility, increasing the risk of sudden failure before deformation occurs. Exercise caution with these applications.
