Selecting the correct product

1. Before using self-tapping screws, verify that their mechanical properties meet your requirements, such as tensile strength and the guaranteed load capacity of the nut. Confirm the screw dimensions accurately; ideally, approximately two threads should remain exposed after tightening.

2. Verify that the threads are in good condition using a go/no-go gauge. Ensure the threaded surfaces remain clean and free of contaminants, as foreign matter may contribute to seizing.

3. Apply lubrication to the self-tapping screws prior to use. This significantly enhances resistance to seizing.
