The head of a GB/T5782 hexagon head bolt is hexagonal, with a coarse-shank partial thread where the shank diameter equals the nominal diameter. This distinguishes it from fine-shank partial threads (where the shank diameter equals the rolled diameter). GB5782 may be understood as an enhanced version of GB5783.
