Pro-Xylane was initially extracted from beechwood hemicellulose, but is now synthesized and is one of the many derivatives of xylose. It enhances the adhesion of the epidermis and the dermo-epidermal junction by increasing the expression of basement membrane proteoglycans, hyaluronic acid-binding proteoglycans, and multiligand proteoglycans, and further promotes the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and proteoglycans (PGs). This leads to repair, firming, and moisturizing effects on the skin.
Cosmetics: It is recommended for use in long-lasting moisturizing, skin-brightening and freckle-reducing products, anti-aging products, sun protection products, wrinkle-reducing and repairing essences, masks, lotions, and more.
- pH range: 4.5-8.5
- Recommended dosage: powder 0.2-10%, 30%-35% concentration of liquid 1.0-30.0%
- It is suggested that powdered Pro-Xylane be pre-dissolved in water and added at a temperature below 40°C. Liquids with a concentration of 30%-35% can be added directly. Avoid prolonged heating or excessively high temperatures
- Powdered Pro-Xylane has a certain ionic property; please pay attention to supplementing thickening agents in the formula system
