Features
2-EHP is a higher alcohol fatty acid ester product, colorless to light yellow transparent oily liquid, odorless. It has excellent emollient properties with good skin affinity and is easily absorbed by skin tissue, leaving skin soft and smooth.
When applied to skin, it prevents moisture evaporation, maintains skin hydration, and improves skin softness and luster. In cosmetic formulations, compared to IPP (isopropyl palmitate), it offers lower freezing point, non-greasy feel, and superior moisturizing properties. Replacing IPP and white oil with 2EHP enhances formulation convenience and significantly improves product quality.
