BARENATE® P-300 is a highly efficient organobentonite with excellent thixotropic properties. Since BARENATE® P-300 provides high low shear viscosity, it can be used for gelling control. Compared with other similar products, the P-300 is more efficient, so it can meet the requirements of anti-sinking with less feeding.
Firstly, putting the grease that needs thickening to mix evenly, adding the amount of P-300 according to the desired viscosity and mixing for 4-5 minutes, then adding polar activator to continue mixing for 4-5 minutes.
- The recommended dosage of BARENATE® P-300 is 0.5-2%.
- The polar activator for BARENATE® P-300 is propylene glycol carbonate or 95% ethanol. The additive amount of polar activator is 5-20% of the additive amount of P-300.
