Applications
BARENATE® P-300 is a highly effective organic bentonite with excellent thixotropic behavior. Because BARENATE® P-300 provides high, low shear viscosity, it can be used for gelling control. P-300 is more efficient than other similar products, so anti-settling requirements can be achieved with fewer feeds.
Usage Method and Precautions
Add the thickened grease, start mixing, mix well, then add P-300 and mix for 4-5 minutes, then add the Polarizing Agent and continue mixing for another 4-5 minutes, increasing or decreasing the amount of P-300 depending on the desired viscosity.
- The recommended dosage of BARENATE® P-300 is 0.5-2%.
- The polar activator for BARENATE® P-300 is propylene glycol carbonate or 95% ethanol. The amount of polar activator added is 5-20% of the amount of P-300.

Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Shelf life is 36 months if the original package is unopened and intact.
