Hydrogenated castor oil is derived through the hydrogenation of natural castor oil, extracted from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. This process converts unsaturated fatty acids into saturated forms, resulting in a stable, solid wax-like substance. It appears as white to pale yellow powder, flakes, or blocks.

• Oxidation Resistance: Unlike conventional plant oils prone to rancidity, hydrogenated castor oil maintains stability over time, ensuring long-term product integrity.
• Texture Enhancement: Acts as a high-melting-point thickener and emollient, reducing liquid oil content while imparting smooth, refined textures.
• Functional Versatility: Compatible with plant oils and liquid paraffin systems, ideal for formulations requiring solid lipid phases.

Creams & Lotions: Serves as a thickening agent and skin-conditioning agent, enhancing viscosity and stability.

Lipsticks & Balms: Functions as a structuring aid to improve moldability and texture in lip products.
